A family-owned 10-acre ranch where a century-old barn and a converted San Antonio streetcar give the party its character.
Carriage Hills Ranch is a family-owned ten-acre venue in the hills outside Blanco, halfway between Austin and San Antonio, built around three set pieces: a gazebo ceremony site with amphitheater-style seating above a wet-weather lake, a restored barn that has stood on the land for a century, and — the conversation starter — a vintage San Antonio streetcar reborn as the bar.
Capacity runs to two hundred guests across indoor and open-air settings. The ranch trades the resort amenities of the bigger corridors for the things Blanco does best: long views, quiet, genuinely dark skies after the last dance, and a small-operator warmth that larger venues schedule in shifts.
