Contigo Ranch spreads across ranchland on Lower Crabapple Road, fifteen minutes north of Fredericksburg's Main Street on the way to Enchanted Rock. Weddings here revolve around two anchors: The Bluff, an elevated outdoor ceremony site with long views over the surrounding country, and The Hall, six thousand square feet of indoor and covered-outdoor reception space with a commercial kitchen and built-in bar. A smaller barn venue handles rehearsal dinners and more intimate celebrations.
What sets Contigo apart is the weekend format. Every wedding includes a two-night buyout of the ranch's ten cottages and five historic cabins, so the wedding party and closest family wake up on the property, and the celebration stretches from Friday welcome drinks to Sunday coffee on the porch.
