Old Glory Ranch

3633 River Rd, Wimberley, TX 78676

Why you'll love this place

A river-front ranch institution where ceremonies happen on a deck over the Blanco and receptions fill a hall built like a chapel.

  • Ceremony options range from a deck over the Blanco River to an oak grove to a 350-seat hall.
  • One event at a time — the ranch is yours for the day.
  • Vintage architectural details and antiques give the buildings a collected-over-decades feel.
  • A certified green business, unusual among Texas venues.

Old Glory Ranch has been hosting weddings on the banks of the Blanco River outside Wimberley for decades, and the property reads like a small campus: Chapel Hall, a four-thousand-square-foot timber hall that converts from a 350-guest ceremony to a 180-seat dinner with a full dance floor; a wedding deck cantilevered toward the river; an oak grove for outdoor vows; and a gatehouse pavilion and stone patio for cocktails as the sun drops.

The ranch runs one event at a time and has built its reputation on vintage details — architectural salvage, classic antiques, grounds that photograph like a Texas heirloom. For larger guest lists, a custom tent extends Chapel Hall onto the patio for another hundred dinner seats. It is the rare Wimberley venue that can do both river-intimate and full-scale formal.
