Wimberley Zipline Adventures has been throwing people off Hill Country ridgelines (safely) since 2008 — the oldest operational zipline outfit in Texas. The course runs ten lines across the hills above Wimberley, fully guided, in a tour that takes about an hour and a half to two hours.
As a bach-weekend opener it's engineered for exactly what the weekend needs: adrenaline, photos, and a shared story before the first winery stop. Mixed groups work — the limits are ages 9 and up and 65–250 pounds — so it also flexes into a whole-wedding-party outing on the Friday.
Tours run by reservation only, so lock the group's slot ahead; the office (10–5 daily) handles group bookings and special events directly.
